Boxhill Olympic Cycle Route (and cake at the top!)
The Olympic cycle route passes the end of our road, you can do this popular 16km route with the zig zag climb to the top and see the amazing views from the top of Box Hill – and maybe treat yourself to some cake. It is very popular so maybe set off early to or off peak times.

CYCLING IN THE SURREY HILLS
The surrounding area is a haven for cyclists with a huge range of routes available, Boxhill is the most well-known, but there are many more such as Leith Hill, the Surrye 27km and 17km ride.

WALKS IN SURREY & BOXHILL
The farm leads directly onto walking trails and bridle ways which link directly onto a range of beautiful national trusts parks.
The Gallops on Mickleham Downs
The largest of our four First World War Centenary Woods, Langley Vale Wood has pockets of ancient woodland, diverse and fascinating wildlife and flora, and stunning views over the rolling hills of the North Downs.
Epsom Downs Walks – 177 hectares of nature reserve to walk around.
DENBIES WINE ESTATE
We are less than five miles away from Denbies Wine Estate which offers wine tastings and tours, train rides around the vineyard, or just the chance to take a walk around the large estate.
EXPLORE LOCAL VILLAGES
We are a short drive from picturesque villages like Dorking, Ripley, Oxshott, Mickleham, Abinger Hammer, Godstone and Shere, the quintessentially English village that has attracted film crews for films such as Bridget Jones and The Holiday!
For those wanting a bit more we’re easily accessible by car from Guildford and Esher – both with great shops and restaurants.

Is there anything better than a country walk and a nice country pub to take have a rest? There are plenty of hidden gems in the Surrey Hills but here are just a few pubs with amazing views.
EPSOM DOWNS RACECOURSE
Situated only 2.5 miles away on the North Downs, Epsom Downs Racecourse is a walk or short drive away. It is one of Britain’s most iconic racecourses.
Most famously home to the Derby, it is also a popular walking spot for locals and visitors with a couple of good pubs on it, ‘The Rubbing House’ and ‘The derby Arms’.
